Congress banned the use of horses for carters in Nuevo León
Victory reached on Oct 9, 2019

The Congress of Nuevo León unanimously approved reforms to the Animal Protection and Welfare Law with the aim of reinforcing the complaint against animal abuse and cruelty, as well as the repair of damage and sanctions.
From this, a Citizen Council for Animal Protection and Welfare will be created, as well as a Joint Animal Protection and Welfare Trust.
To begin with all acts of abuse and cruelty against animals are strictly prohibited. In this sense, working animals can no longer be used in loading and shooting activities in urban areas.
This measure would be affected, for example, hundreds of truck drivers who use donkeys or horses to carry garbage and debris.
In addition, among other things, this new measure prohibits regulating experimentation and professional practices that use animals.
The reforms establish that confining an animal to remain in an uninhabited dwelling, patio, roof, balcony, terrace or any other similar place without food, water or veterinary care, will be subject to sanction.
This will also apply to those who leave an animal unsupervised in vehicles, rooms or sheds where, due to the extreme temperature, a risk to the health of the animal in question can be caused.

Because they are very noble animals, which are beaten, make them suffer with excessive loads on their bodies, they suffer from hunger and thirst, they work almost all day and have very little time to rest. I'm sick of seeing them suffer so much.
Urges that the State give a stop to this barbarity, so much abuse, make them work under the hot sun, without water, in the rain their hooves slip and they fall, and the authorities do nothing. My God, make a miracle so that these animals stop suffering, they deserve to live with dignity, they did not born to suffer.
No more suffering to these noble animals, we have a moral obligation to them.
