Luckily they have taken the elephant Mara to the Brazilian Elephant Sanctuary where she lives in a herd with the dignity with which she should have always lived. It is no longer a zoo, now it is an eco park where animals are helped to reintegrate them into their natural habitats and also to rehabilitate them and provide them with specialized veterinary care.

Thanks to everyone who signed the petition supporting animals, they deserve a better life.

The Government can not have the animals locked in the Zoo in the conditions they are in. They must move the animals to shelters and sanctuaries as soon as possible, but they will have them reopened. We can not afford to see them under the conditions they are currently in.

We need to be taken urgently, because they are still mistreated, and when closed, citizens can not see anything, except some people who can take a picture and show how really they are, dirty, without food, locked up without contact with the outside, etc.

We want the City Government to solve this issue as soon as possible, this is not something you can expect, such as fixing a street.
