We ask for measures against the run over of animals

In Cristofor Colom street, at number 33, in the area of ​​Los Pinos de Blanes, is the refuge that for many cats has been and is their home, thanks to the volunteers who come night and day to give - those of eating, cleaning and of course giving them affection. It is important to say that these people are also the ones who control the uncontrolled reproduction of these animals, since when a cat arrives or abandons it in the area, it is quickly taken to the vet for sterilization and most of the expenses mentioned above come from their pockets. Unfortunately in recent years there are already many cats that have been run over and that the volunteers themselves have had to bury with great pain because it is a very narrow street, practically "pedestrian" and especially in summer with the increased circulation that many people who do not respect speed limits and there have been scares even with small children that I have witnessed myself. For this same reason, we ask the Blanes city council to put at least two braking blocks, one in front of the refuge and the other a few meters after the exits of the campsites that are further ahead and thus end the undue deaths of these animals and possibly also save someone's life.
