Because they are killing thousands of cats and dogs because they believe they are the transmitters of covid19 and they are not. It is scientifically proven that they do not transmit it. Please don't abandon them, or kill or mistreat them. You have to help them take care of them. They would not abandon us under any circumstances we are going through.
This is a lesson from nature, not to say that it is a punishment, because we humans do not respect or care for anything, not even ourselves.
