Because the life of a defenseless being is worth more than their miserable corrupt lives full of luxuries and eccentricities. Because it is important, since this would reduce abuse, illegal buying and selling, diseases, and we would recover health and help to create awareness and instill values when it comes to caring for and defending the rights of all animals.
