Take care of the citizens, elders need a place to live
people signed. Let's get to 5,000!
Addressed to: Mister Justin Trudeau and 2 more
It is very good to take care of asylum seekers, but it should not be to the detriment of the people who already live here, who have urgent needs. I know a person in distress who will be evicted these days from home and none of the organizations to which she goes can find a place. How do we find astronomical sums to build buildings that will welcome people who enter our country, but strangely enough there are not enough to build social housing? It is unacceptable and we must change things.
This petition will be addressed to the three levels of government, federal, provincial and municipal. Mr. Justin Trudeau, Mr. Philippe Couillard, Mr. Denis Coderre, if you believe that it is enough to have been chosen to merit your title as Prime Minister or Mayor, NO! You have a duty to care for your most vulnerable citizens, people who need a home or care and who have lived in Canada, Quebec, Montreal for a long time.
