Domestic animals are living beings that deserve to be treated as such, have to have the right to health, food and a home. We see many animals in the streets, and we are always the ones who act to take care of them, but it is not always possible and the organs that are responsible for them do not act.
There are no shelters or places where we can carry abandoned animals. There are no vaccination or sterilization campaigns for both stray and pet animals. This reality makes every day worse the number of animals abused and abandoned.
We need the Government to build a shelter for animals where they have veterinary care that includes vaccination and sterilization.
