Stop the Giro d'Italia in Sicily

There was a massacre of innocent dogs poisoned in February, so this Italian cycling race should cease to exist out of respect for these innocent beings who died without guilt for this cowardice. Too many stray animals that were not sterilized ended up paying with their lives the faults of the people, and not even the Mayor of Sciacca did anything for them, so, I appeal to their common sense.
The dogs have been poisoned with meatballs, which were found next to the corpses of fifty dogs. We demand publicly the cancellation of the stage of the Giro d'Italia by the city and we hope that the judicial power establishes a criminal responsibility.
We can not allow such a prestigious sporting event to carry a message of death.
