Sterilization and adoption of cats in the General Cemetery of Guayaquil, Ecuador

Although there is a regulation in Ecuador that penalizes animal abuse, there is no awareness in people about the welfare that should be provided to domestic animals that adopt by mere novelty and then to realize that a pet deserves care abandon them, most they end up in the streets and others leave them in specific places.

The present petition is for the different colonies of cats that have been formed in the General Cemetery of Guayaquil, The Board of Beneficence that is the entity that runs the cemetery does not echo this situation, perhaps with signs where it is warned to this unscrupulous people that what they do is wrong or with more guards that control the income of people with the animals that leave there.

Finally, this campaign must involve everyone to become aware that these evil acts contravene provisions, but above all, it degrades those who do it. It is terrible to see newborn kittens that discard them, the few people who collaborate can not attend to all the cases, with our money sterilizations have been made and they are left with food and water, which is being done little by the amount of animals that they reproduce and leave there.

Because of the aforementioned background, it is very important to start a sterilization campaign with Foundations or the Ministry of Health and then promote the adoption of these beautiful beings so willing to give love.
