Six month maternity leave in Spain

Addressed to: Ministry of Employment and Social Security

According to the World Health Organization an infant should be breastfed for at least 6 months. On the other hand, the Government only gives you 3 and a half months of maternity (they tell you that they are 4 months, but it does not even come). So?

They are forcing the mothers not to breastfeed, since then we can only leave the job for an hour to do it, imagine a mother who works half an hour from home, if she needs between 20 and 30 min to nurse , I do not get the accounts.

I hear no more than talk in the Government that Spain is an old country, as it will not be? If they do not give facilities to raise children. In Germany, Denmark, and many other European countries you get a MINIMUM 1 year of maternity in which even parents can take half of that maternity to enjoy their little one and of course help their partner.

All I ask is 6 months, just to be able to breastfeed our babies, is stipulated by the World Health Organization.
