This is not an "Exhibition", this is a shame! In the heart of Fifth Avenue, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, we can see many shops that exhibit art, fashion, culinary fusion, etc. However, in one of them in particular "Animalandia" we can see the exhibition of human misery, our human misery. In that place they consider an "attraction" to show two puppies, a puma and a tiger. Both animals are evidently drugged, of course, how else could they be used for tourists to take pictures with them? Someone wrote that "animals live in hell and we human beings are their demons", this here is confirmed once again.
In spite of the complaint presented, the authorities have not done anything for 10 months, since on January 30 of this year, this situation of abuse, abuse and exploitation was published and reported in various local newspapers. The result so far is nil, the company continues to function normally and even under the protection of power, because apparently the complaint made by QROCK activists points to Felix Sandoval Jaime, Alternate Regidor, as the owner of said business. On that occasion, more than 115 thousand signatures of support were collected so that the authority acted by closing said establishment and safeguarding the animals that are held in captivity and in obvious conditions that damage their integrity and health.
We demand that this situation stop immediately and that the animals be requisitioned and placed in shelters suitable for their development.
