Because it is depressing to see that nothing is done for the rescue of felines and canines abandoned in the streets of the city. We need and demand that all Municipalities in general promote an aggressive campaign to rescue stray animals that are suffering abandonment, especially in marginal urban areas, parks and markets of Guayaquil and all the cities of Ecuador.
With this petition I ask the Municipal Government of Guayaquil and the rest of Ecuador to carry out mass and free sterilization campaigns for stray animals along with vaccination campaigns and to be rescued to be taken to shelters where they can be given in responsible adoption.
Enough of abuse, enough of stray animals, fight for them, we are their hope.
