The levels of air pollution due to the increase in the transport of road vehicles (especially private) triggers the health hazard indexes of gases such as nitrogen oxide (increase in diesel vehicles), carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide carbon and others. The health of citizens is at risk and you just have to look at some other cities like Beiging or Hong Kong.
A palliative measure, in addition to reducing the use of private vehicles and promoting transport and clean energy, would reforest all the surrounding areas of the M-30 and similar roads. This could help to recycle the air, provide shade, reduce noise and beautify the city. It is shown that certain species of trees are resistant to air pollution, such as ash, which is so frequent in Madrid.
I think that such an initiative would be well regarded by all.
