Because animals can not defend themselves, because they are our friends, because they SUFFER the pain just like us, because they are more loyal to their masters than their masters with them many times. Because they have no voice and can not complain. Because they are unconditionally present in our joys and sorrows and it has been discovered that their hearts especially those of the pets BEAT in unison with ours.
For all these reasons is that we must defend them, protect them and take care of them, that no one harms them, and if this happens, these people have to respond to justice. For this we need Laws that punish animal abuse with jail, do not reach with fines, money comes and goes, and animals suffer. Fines are like paying to be able to mistreat and murder an animal.
Let's end the animal abuse with laws that punish according to the crimes that are committed.
