Because they deserve respect, low-cost or free treatments, and to be able to help the animals that walk in the street, so that anyone can pick them up and take them to care without thinking that they have no money.
With the veterinary hospital many people would adopt because they would have little or no expenses. There would be no abandoned animals or female dogs and cats having babies all the time anywhere, which in turn catch many unborn diseases and try to survive on the streets.
