Every year many swarms of bees are lost in the city, but no competent body takes care of it. Firefighters and civil protection are authorized to intervene only in public areas; while, THE EXPENSES FOR THE REMOVAL IN THE GARDENS AND THE PRIVATE HOUSES MUST BE ABSORBED BY THE CITIZEN.
All this is really absurd considering also that bees are protected species!
To safely eliminate a swarm costs 150 to 400 euros if all goes well and does not need extraordinary interventions such as: crane or restoration of the walls.
Unfortunately, not all have this kind of money and the time necessary to solve the problem correctly, so we resort to "improvised extreme remedies", harmful to the health of the citizen and the bees themselves.
In fact, there are those who think to solve the problem by destroying the hives to solve the problem quickly, without knowing that the problem is not solved at all!
In addition to being ethically horrible, illegal, harmful to our ecosystem and also extremely dangerous to our health.
Therefore, we request the Minister to establish a COMPETENT STATE BODY, specialized in the swarm disposal in safety conditions, available free of charge even in private areas.
