The problem of plastics is serious, since 2100 tons of garbage per year represent only plastic bags in Chile.
A plastic bag takes between 300 to 500 years to begin to disintegrate into small particles, which end up in the sea.
Plastic pollutes the oceans, harms marine fauna and flora, it is therefore urgent that the main distributors of plastic bags stop delivering them: supermarkets, free fairs, trade in general, etc.
Let’s use Eco-friendly bags, plastic bags that we already have to buy at free fairs, wrap some vegetables in paper, use paper bags to buy bread, among other things.
