There are too many people who give in to the temptation to buy an animal (especially puppies, kittens or rodents) because it is cute because, their children have a whim because it is an easy purchase. These animals, often too often, end up being a burden for homeowners who realize that it takes time, is messy, cost money.
At best, they change ownership and, hopefully, they look good, but they are often "forgotten" in their cage or in the garden, malnourished, mistreated, and eventually die from abuse. Having a pet is a real commitment, a real responsibility and any adverse action against them should be punished!
Avoid selling animals in pet stores, impulsive and irrational purchases, and avoid unnecessary suffering to the animals that bring us so much joy and tenderness!
