Prohibit pyrotechnics in Quintana Roo

Every year hundreds of animals suffer from pyrotechnics because they are very sensitive to loud noises. We must put an end to this torture for the animals and birds that year after year die of the shock that the noises of pyrotechnics cause them.

The use of pyrotechnics generates tachycardia, tremors, shortness of breath, nausea, lightheadedness, loss of control, fear and / or death. The effects on animals are diverse and of different intensity and severity. Dogs tend to feel fear and when they run away they can fall victim to accidents or get lost. Birds react to roars with tachycardia that can kill them; cats tend to run after explosives out of curiosity, being able to eat them, lose sight or be injured; insects and other small animals can do little to not be damaged, pyrotechnics is for them a large explosive.

This petition is addressed to the Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, since he neither cares about the welfare of the animals, nor has he done anything for nature in the state.
