Prevent the death from hunger and thirst, and the cannibalism of dogs locked in containers

Addressed to: Mayor of Coyhaique Alejandro Huala Canumán

The puppies of Coyhaique were removed from the streets and locked in containers without light, ventilation, food or water, and are killing each other. These puppies are the abandoned ones of the streets that a little more than a month a judge ordered to retire them from the streets of the city.

After a girl was bitten by a stray dog, the Justice ordered the Municipal Government to remove all stray dogs, which was done at the time, just over a month ago. The problem is that these dogs were not taken to shelters, to be able to take care of them, protect them and give them up for adoption. These dogs were locked up in containers so they would not bother more, so they would not be seen, like garbage, hiding it under the carpet.

We ask that this terrible and inhuman crime stop, we cannot allow the lives of all these animals to end in this tragic and inhuman way. There are other human and modern means to solve the problem of stray dogs.
