Possibility for dogs on a leash to enter Boboli Gardens
people signed. Let's get to 5,000!
Addressed to: Mayor of the Commune of Florence
Dear mayor,
The Boboli Gardens are the most beautiful gardens in the center of Florence, a wonderful green lung in the Florentine Oltrarno that all citizens can enjoy for free.
However, it is a shame that access to dogs on a leash is not allowed, as they can rejoice on the grass and enjoy the clean air, along with their owners.
It is important to allow our best friends to enter as well, respecting civil and hygiene regulations. Therefore, owners must have a leash and, for large defense and guard dogs, also a muzzle, as well as bags to collect manure.
Today's dogs have access to numerous hospitals, help blind people to be autonomous, and are used in pet therapy and rescue both at sea and in earthquake zones. Absurd to exclude them from city parks!
The sign that prohibits the entry of dogs to Boboli is from the Municipality of Florence, therefore, as Mayor of that Municipality, we ask you to lift this restriction.
