Two months ago, users who owned dogs that were carrying them loose (since they obey us) were persecuted, treated and fined as criminals. We have had 2 meetings with the Mayor, unsuccessful for my taste, because the solution proposed is inadequate.
It is going to carry out a pilot project in several parks of the capital, of a certain schedule (that we have not been told and well it will not be to everybody's taste) to be able to walk freely with our loose dog. The problem is the space they establish for that, it is insufficient and we are in the same thing: WE ARE LOCKED UP.
Since the runners (who personally bother me, because they harass us and tell us things, or go where the dog goes by bothering him, touching or frightening him) have the right to go ALL THE PARK (They are not puts schedule or established area, they go freely) I demand THE SAME RIGHT, BECAUSE I PAY MY TAXES AND I HAVE THAT RIGHT AND I AM A CANINE USER OF THE PARKS OF THE CAPITAL.
Well, Mr. Bermúdez, I demand a 12-hour schedule (from 8 to 8 for example) to be able to walk FREELY with the loose dog ALL THE PARK, under the knowledge of the police so that they do not harass us, fines or treat us like criminals, when Mr. Mayor. WE HAVE THE SAME RIGHT, WE ARE CITIZENS, we have the documentation of our pets in order and we pay the taxes. Now we have parks that we can not walk freely, we can not even sit on the lawn. We have parks to not enjoy them.
His way of acting towards us is very wrong and inadequate. All of Europe has advanced, pet friendly trades, huge and well maintained dog parks, etc etc... I JUST ASK YOU TO RESPECT OUR RIGHTS.
