In case they are going to be slaughtered in the place of their destination, often for human consumption. With so much stress and anguish in their transport those animals will suffer too much that will be their last trip. But if their whole life has been a martyrdom for most of these innocent animals I think that your last trip should be less "heavy", that they suffer less stress, heat, thirst, among other distressing things that happen to them on the way.
That is why they should be put to sleep or numb when they are moved to other places. Please put yourself in their place for a moment, they also have feelings and suffer, they are not only "things" that help the human being to benefit from them.
For the sake of anyone who was their God, take pity on them.
