No to sound alarms
people signed. Let's get to 500!
Addressed to: Mayor of Montevideo Daniel Martínez
Sound alarms serve to scare off criminals, and then they left (assuming these criminals exist and the alarm was not triggered by a rodent or other animal):
Why do they keep ringing for whole days without anyone else turning them off?
Why do not they implement light alarms that do not disturb the rest of the neighbors?
Why do not they sound in the house of alarm owners?
This situation is aggravated in Tourism Week, long weekends and holidays, since the alarms do not go out until the next working day.
Those in charge of turning off the alarms do not and leave the neighbors of the commercial premises at the mercy of the stress of the continuous sound of the alarms, generating stress and discomfort in the surrounding streets.
I request that sound alarms be prohibited and replaced by other methods that do not disturb neighbors.
