Because animals are living beings that deserve respect and love. There are so many murderers and cowards who mistreat or kill them. In some countries like the Netherlands there is not a single stray dog, they have shelters where they take care of them, give them love and get them a home where they can be loved.
In the Netherlands ended with stray dogs with three simple steps, free and massive sterilization campaigns for stray dogs and pets, tougher Laws against abandonment, with fines up to 16,000 Euros and 3 years in prison, and high taxes for industry of pets sales.
In Chile there are thousands of dogs on the street, most in poor condition. Skinny, hungry, they die in winter cold and summer heat kills them. Nobody cares to give them food or water. Should have shelters where feed them and take care.
There are three simple steps that can be carried out with political decision, we do not need more than that, this is why we must fight.
