It is a fact that every day there are more people who use the bicycle as a means of transportation. It is true that cyclists have bike lanes in some parts of the city centre. Despite this, in most of Corunna it is practically impossible to circulate with the bicycle. There are wide roads for drivers, and wide sidewalks for pedestrians. But what about bicycles?
A city with a bicycle lane earns many points at a European level, and, since we always strive to take care of the environment, the installation of a bicycle lane would motivate many people to use it as a means of transport, reducing pollution. In this way, cyclists would not have to disturb vehicles on the road (since for many drivers, these are a hindrance) or pedestrians (who are often scared of seeing bicycles prowling on the sidewalks).
