Neighbors ask for measures against annoying noise, vandalism and criminals that happen in our neighborhood
We extend the present note to ask you, the responsible authorities, to take preventive and corrective measures to eliminate and control the events that are taking place from Monday to Sunday, both in the Eva Hajduk park and in the plazas La Paz, Belgrano Alte. Brown and surrounding streets, which are increased qualitatively as a result of the arrival of the summer season. In these events situations like:
1) Consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads for both adults and minors.
2) Music at full volume in the open air as if they were dancing establishments.
3) Circulation and speed competitions (chopped) between cars and motorcycles with free escapes.
4) Parking in prohibited places such as pedestrian paths, paths and bike paths and garage for private homes.
5) Annoying noises not only in the park and the squares but also in the inner streets of the city, disturbing the peace and fair rest of the neighbors.
6) Repeated vandalism, fights and robberies not only among those attending these meetings but also bystanders, on the properties of neighbors and businesses.
We remind you that the National Transit Law 24,449 and the municipal ordinances among them are applicable, for example, No. 2,046, which regulates contraventions on the consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads, ordering and control of vehicular traffic, or illegal activities such as theft. , driving while intoxicated, riots, among others.
Likewise, we remind you that on the occasion of the festivities of December 24 and 25, 2016, acts of violence, robbery, destruction of businesses and individuals took place, which mobilized the neighbors to meet with the authorities to request that the necessary measures be taken. to avoid the repetition of these events on December 31, 2016 and January 1 of the current year. Unfortunately, the actions of the authorities were insufficient to maintain order and again the neighbors had to suffer for the "celebrations" of the vandals who appropriated the public space in a wild and reckless.
In the meeting held on January 4 and 5 of the current with the authorities, represented by the police station No. 2 of Ranelagh, CPC, UPL, District Headquarters, authorities of the COM and the Security Secretariat of Berazategui, they admitted that they were overwhelmed by events and that did not have the logistics to carry out the preventive work that had been agreed. At the same time, the lack of both physical and material resources manifested itself, which is why this Association sent notes to the provincial security authorities requesting solutions to this problem and, as it is already public knowledge, we were informed of an important budget item sent to the municipality for security resources. The municipality clearly informed us the fate of these items so we hope this time the issue of resources is not an impediment to take preventive actions, since this Association of Neighbors timely echoed the needs that we expressed.
Today, the residents of Ranelagh represented by the Civil Association Cudemos Ranelagh Ciudad Jardín want to express our concern regarding the upcoming parties in which excesses, noise and other criminal acts tend to escalate alarming and uncontrollable. It is our desire to help the authorities in order to maintain the safety and tranquility of all the families that live in Ranelagh, as well as for the people who visit us, therefore anticipating these future situations is that we request that they be duly taken into account and the controls and necessary operations are prepared with the personnel and sufficient equipment to guarantee the care of the neighbors, visitors and their goods.
Thank you very much and we greet you cordially,
Board of Directors "CUIDEMOS RANELAGH CIUDAD JARDÍN"
