It is very important and extremely urgent to deal with the issue of the homeless and street people, who abound in the center of Concepcion and in all the cities of the country, many of them with their mental faculties disturbed, unable to cover any of their basic needs, at least the most urgent.
We need vehicles to move them to temporary homes where they can sleep and shelter from the intense cold and rain. The Hogar de Cristo only opens the doors to them under a strict schedule, waiting for many of them in the rain without being able to enter, this is inhuman. With only one van to move them, many of them remain without any possibility of reaching this Home.
The Ministry of Social Development does not have transportation vehicles for them, it only offers a temporary home for the winter months, but how can they get there? I find it unacceptable that they do not have a transfer vehicle.
Let's just put ourselves in the shoes of each of these indigents and feel the suffering they lead to costs each day.
They need a solution NOW, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
