Because there can not be animals suffering in the street, we see every day that there are people who mistreat them by throwing stones at them, while they are hungry and thirsty. Many end up dying running over cars. They spend a lifetime under great storms, without a shelter.
I can not see them suffer, they become better than a human, that's why I can not keep still to their pain and do everything possible to improve their lives, but it is not enough, that's why I made this petition, to the Government and ensure that they have the means to rescue the stray animals and take them to shelters where they can be cared for and given for adoption.
Mr Tabaré Vázquez, we ,the good people, ask you to do everything in your power to achieve the goal of improving the lives of stray animals.
