Because here in Uruguay there are few NGOs that are self-supporting, and most even have enough physical space to house all the huge numbers of dogs and cats that try to survive on the public highway. Being without someone who has them under control, they are also not sterilized, so they reproduce freely, increasing overpopulation. Also the lack of food is constant, there is no one who deworm them, etc.
If we got the physical place donated by the state everything would change for the better. I know many people, as me, that during his life he fought as he could against this scourge, often obtaining the love of many veterinarians.
I have dealt with reporting horses owners who are not in a position to continue pulling a car laden with more and therefore to see that the whip can not stop intervening. There are illegal greyhound dogs races, dog fights and illegal cockfights where many animals always die. It is also a scourge the traffic of exotic animals, etc. And nobody does anything.
Please uruguayans and people from all over the world who agree with this request SIGN for all our animals to have their home!!!
