Because abandoned animals should not be sacrificed for the simple fact of being mistreated and left in the street to die. For that reason the only excuse for sacrifice should be the terminal illness of the animal, with unbearable suffering, of course in dignified and painless conditions, nothing to burn them alive as has been done and is still done.
In many kennels they are electrocuted without anesthesia, so they die with much pain, or they are burned, or injected with things to kill them. None of these deaths is painless, and that is the first thing we should avoid.
Let's not allow more sacrifices in the kennels of Spain, dogs need a home where they can give all the love they have.
