Joining this initiative done in Holland and now in Spain

If we are a civilized country, we cannot allow it to continue the mistreatment of animals. From here I ask that the authorities take the necessary measures to end this scourge of our society.

Every day there are hundreds of dogs abandoned by their owners, found on the overcrowded roads. There are people who voluntarily pick them up, take them to the vet, heal them sterilize them and try to get them adopted. But they are people who lack the economic resources and with great will do everything they can, putting their cars (the one that has) and money (they do not have), ask for help through social networks, etc.

We cannot allow dogs to be tied to a chain for life by their owners, under the summer sun, cold and rain in winter, abandoned in the fields or their houses and without just feeding them. This should be punished and the authorities have to put the means to stop it.

We ask in each province capital or big city, a true shelter who has veterinarians, auxiliary personnel, etc., that has healthy conditions, well fed, cured and cared for the animals. Have a van to pick up abandoned animals. And above all, that once cured and sterilized they are looking for adoption.

The Public Administration must take care of this.

This would also mean getting some jobs that need us so much.

To do this, they should take an example of what has been done in Holland, the first country without animals on the streets.

This was achieved through 4 strategies:

A) Awareness

B) Laws and fines

C) Mass, free and compulsory campaigns of castration

D) High taxes on the purchase of "race" animals
