The signatories requested the decision and real and urgent actions to Mr. Intendente Gustavo Gennuso for the installation of surveillance cameras and monitoring in the City of San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro, Argentina.

In recent years, the increase in population has generated in our city all the problems of large cities: traffic accidents, insecurity, deterioration of public spaces and the environment. The actions of the authorities have not made any progress in controlling these problems.

Every day, the life of innocents, is in more danger.

The facts that accompany us day by day to residents and tourists are, to mention only a few:

People and animals run over by speeding vehicles, with drivers unable to do so, with vehicles in unacceptable conditions.

Murders to people who return from their work or study, abduction and rape of women, torture, mistreatment and death of animals on public roads.

People wounded, purposely or accidentally, by evildoers who carry weapons with total freedom.

Robberies and abductions of people on public roads, shops, parked vehicles, homes, often with violence.

Intentional fires in the urban area, as well as in vehicles and in natural spaces.

Road signs and shelters of damaged collectives.

Acts vandalized in the Municipal Cemetery.

Garbage and unused elements are thrown on the public highway, in wastelands, on beaches, on walking paths, in huge quantities, generating garbage throughout the city.

Puppies are thrown or abandoned with puppies, sometimes newborns, in supermarkets, schools, vacancies, corners, etc.

It is parked in forbidden places, such as ramps for handicapped people or chamfers.

The patrolling of police forces is not giving absolutely any positive result and all the aforementioned facts are increasing with absolute impunity for their perpetrators. One criminal makes a bell and the rest moves freely. And in case of an illicit, the officials also can not do much and expose their lives.

Women have been hired to vehicles, against their will, and irruptions have been perpetrated on parked cars, with policemen a block away, without any difficulty and the subjects are never identified.

Donkey ridges, only generate an anti-ecological increase in fuel consumption and traffic jams, but between the back and back, the driver accelerates again. They are also a dangerous obstacle for ambulances and fire engines.

We therefore request the political decision and the real commitment of the Municipal Authorities, the principal responsible, the Mayor Mr. Gustavo Gennuso, to allocate the funds and implement the necessary actions, urgently, to carry out a programmed and progressive installation of cameras. security in the whole extension of the City of San Carlos de Bariloche.
