There are thousands of animal protectors in the city of São Paulo, cases of people who go through many difficulties to have dogs and cats that they shelter in their homes. The protectors should receive the recognition and support of the Government representatives since they contribute immensely to solving the problem of the lack of an adequate policy for the care of homeless animals, in situations of abuse, abandonment, hunger, cold and abandonment in the streets of the city of São Paulo.
