In Puerto Rico daily we have in the street puppies and kittens abandoned by the owners who no longer want them or can not keep them. We need to control overpopulation, also to control people so they do not keep throwing into the street an endless number of dogs and cats that are not to blame for their irresponsibility.
Controls, high fines and free sterilization are what we require of the Government to stop the uncontrolled overpopulation of stray animals that suffer so much without a home and a family that loves them.
The situation is almost uncontrollable, and if the Government does not do something urgent this will not have a viable solution for the animals, which will end up dying for the laziness of the people who govern us.
