We can think of a beautiful and noble initiative for our little four-legged: a food and water dispenser for stray dogs in Argentina.
In DiarioEcologia.com (attached link: http://diarioecologia.com/la-estupenda-iniciativa-que-dispensa-comida-y-agua-automaticamente-a-perritos-callejeros/ ) Appeared a note reported on a food dispensers for stray dogs in Colombia, Turkey and Mexico. Why not take this example in our beloved Argentina?
Animals are sentient beings, they suffer for hunger and thirst. It is inhuman to see them wandering hither and thither in search of food scraps in the garbage, drinking dirty water, where they find. We cannot allow that anymore. It is contrary to human dignity, such as Pope Francis said. We have to provide a decent life, with minimum and indispensable; water and food.
We all love the animals and that is why we care for them and it is also our duty as human beings, since they are the most vulnerable in the world and do not always have the physical possibility to have them in our homes, and the shelters are overcrowded and find it impossible to accommodate more dogs.
According to the Journal of Huila (Colombia) on the day December 4, 2015, quote: "the dispenser or Come Dog, is made of galvanized steel, it supports a weight in food of 22 kilograms, has a front sliding door that allows you to enter the food which it will then be consumed by canine; each side of the dispenser has structures that allow placing containers to fill with water and each tank can hold about four liters of water; It has a height of about 1 meter 20 centimeters and a cost range close to $ 210 000 (about 80 euros) price. "
This initiative, if I could have the backing of the national government, would be a major step to further protect our four-legged friends, who need us and depend on us.
That is why we ask the Government of Argentina to make it possible to create a law for food dispensers for stray dogs are implemented in all cities in Argentina and food companies could also become sponsoring such dispensers.
