Enact Laws that punish the theft of animals and pets as kidnapping

Often, in burglaries of homes and dwellings, the animals and pets that live in the home, which are treated and wanted as if it were a family member, are also included in the robbery of thieves and are considered emotionally as non-consanguineous relatives .

The fate of stolen pets is hardly known, let alone the worst. To minimize pet theft, laws must be passed that compare pet theft with kidnapping. In this way we will not completely avoid the crime, but if we value more (from the legislative point of view) the lives of pets that are so important for many people with a good heart.

I do not know if I am really exaggerating the crime or the pets deserve this protection measure. I would not want my pets to be stolen and that I would never know their destinations. It would be as if my limbs were torn, living could continue to live but not with the same quality of life that I had. To do this, we need the convicted prisoners to suffer harsh dissuasive sentences.

On the other hand, if we take this proposal to its opposite extreme, it could be the case that a good citizen wants to save the pet of a landowner who gives him bad life and this one denounces to the good Samaritan of the abduction of his abused mascot.

I propose that this petition be created, that it be studied in all cases and, finally, that it be promulgated.
