The Children's Museum, located on Carrera 60 and 63rd Street in Bogotá, would close its doors after seven years of operation under the Colsubsidio administration.
Through a communiqué, this entity reported that the Bogota City Hall requested the handover of the property, which had been given to him as a loan, in order to develop other recreational projects on the site.
“The Children's Museum Foundation and Colsubsidio offered different alternatives to the administration to continue operating the Museum (...) however, not reaching an agreement, the decision of the District administration was to request the delivery of the properties and the museum facilities,” added Colsubsidio.
