It is important because they keep the animals that barely survive in subhuman conditions, in small spaces, many of them in terrible health conditions. Without recreation, inadequate and insufficient nutrition and many of them presenting zoochosis phenomenon, a psychological disorder due to confinement and boredom.
On the other hand, there is no justification from the educational point of view for future generations, nor research into the preservation of threatened species.
