Defend the Department of Animal Protection of Alicante!

From the newspaper Informacion has unleashed a campaign against the Department of Animal Protection (Alicante is one of the few town councils that has decided to create a council dedicated exclusively to the defense and the pursuit of animal welfare) because it has had the audacity of want to protect animals and above all to want to comply with the Laws that establish that certain establishments need licenses and permits (something that does not have Noah's Ark, at least does not have all that it needs).

To curb those who have decided to enforce the Law and who has faced your collaborator, you have had no problem lying in your newspaper, defending with a blindfold who is a regular collaborator of your daily but is persona non grata among the numerous associations that defend and care for animals in the city of Alicante (which he does not do) and which you have silenced and despised by not even giving them the opportunity to defend their arguments (not even in the section of letters to the director ).

Those who really appreciate the lives of those who can neither speak nor vote, we know what the previous government teams have done and not done by the animals in this municipality. In this new stage we are relieved that now there is a new sensitivity in the defense of animals and their welfare from the Local Administration, and fortunately also from the Provincial Council.

Now you come to remind us that before we were better: That earlier refers to the then overcrowding of wandering animals was solved with their massive sacrifice in the so-called animal protection society; This one refers to the fact that the creation of an enclosure for the recovery of the native fauna was promoted at the time and that in the end it has become a kind of private zoo in the hand of those who have covered their backs with a foundation inside of which he is the only one to decide and to command at his whim (for it is a foundation and not an association - he does not have to answer to anyone who does not agree explicitly with him).
