Cyclists should respect the rules in cities such as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Because I often see that many cyclists go down sidewalks that are not marked for them, they cross pedestrian crossings in red and do not respect other established norms, such as wearing reflective signs at night, among others. I was about to be hit more than once when I was walking on the sidewalk or I was going to cross a pedestrian crossing. I have also been about to run over more than one at night. I have called their attention and they have responded with very little education.

If education and respect are not received in the family environment, or if you begin to educate and sanction, little can be done.
