When the pilgrimages are over we talk about how much fun we have, but there are forgotten victims, the animals, all for brag about this parties. It is outrageous how the people abuse horses, mules, donkeys, oxen, etc.
In the last pilgrimage of El Rocio, 10 horses and 3 mules died.
There is no consciousness about their exploitation until they are dead. So I ask the Spanish Government to create rules against abuse of these animals, and strict controls when the people "celebrate" a pilgrimage.
