There are thousands of dogs that day by day suffer from hunger, cold, abandonment, animal mistreatment, sodomy, rape by homeless and drug addicts of these places. They are used as object of study without right in the universities to experiment with them in surgical practices.
Thousands of puppies are born in the streets, thousands of females are killed and bitten by dog packs when they enter heat. And the Municipality has only implemented the policy of euthanasia and not prevention, sterilization and sanction to animal abuse.
My petition is for the Municipal Government of La Paz and the Municipal Government of El Alto to build a sanctuary for dogs and implement a policy of massive and free sterilization for both stray animals and pets.
