The suffering that these dogs experience when living in the street and our helplessness to not be able to do anything about it, without being able to give a solution to the problem is also painful. There are also irresponsible people who no longer want to take care of their pets and abandon them in the street, that aggravates the problem of overpopulation.
By decreasing the dog population would avoid so much animal suffering, in addition to creating public awareness. It is not fair to see and suffer abandoned puppies.
This is why we are asking for the creation of a mandatory compliance law to sterilize all stray dogs of both sexes, plus a propaganda campaign for citizen awareness on responsible tenure and pet care.
