The animals put up for sale at the Feria 16 de Julio are mistreated and treated as living merchandise. They are put up for sale locked in cages in poor condition, in full sun, others even on their feces, and beaten by the merchants themselves if they cry or complain too much.
In other cases like chickens and ducks are locked in boxes, in large numbers, which crush each other even the chicks die like this, crushed.
It is a place where, in addition, any person can acquire an animal without any type of control over their future, being the main cause of mistreatment and abandonment in my city.
