Change Laws to protect our pets

It is regrettable and cruel that in Ventosa do Mar, Lourinha and in general, the people of Portugal, the competent authorities do not mobilize and review the horrible current situation of the dogs locked up or tied with chains, since here it is something normalized (living with 6 meters of chains is legal in this country) and this is not penalizing severely as it happens in Catalonia for example, that the fine can reach up to € 20,000.

In a tank of gas cylinders without roof of small dimensions as shown in the photo, in front of a busy road and next to a school of small children who grow up seeing this situation as normal, we see the 24 hours of the 365 days to two German shepherds locked up, one has serious wounds in the nose and show symptoms of stress as is logical, I tried to change the situation talking to the company ignoring them, treat them as objects of surveillance.

Yesterday there was a strong storm and there the poor people followed, very sad. The worst thing is that the owners of this company are protected by the Portuguese authorities and they do not care.

Hopefully and I hope that this situation is over and the population is conscientious to care for and protect our pets without the need for fines, simply applying common sense.

Please sign this petition to mobilize the competent authorities to change this unfortunate situation and no animal is condemned to an agonizing life.
