Build a public veterinary hospital in Lisbon and Porto
people signed. Let's get to 5,000!
Addressed to: President of the Lisbon Municipal Assembly
We urgently need to be able to count on a Public Veterinary Hospital to be able to care for stray animals and those of people with economic problems who would otherwise not be able to provide veterinary care to their pets.
This veterinary hospital would generate:
1 Reduction of costs in the consultations.
2 Increased public health due to having fewer sick animals on the street.
3 Getting them into adoption to be part of a home.
This will reduce the number of abandoned dogs and cats in these two districts after their implementation.
A policy that would be fair, coupled with severe penalties for those who mistreat an animal, teaching children not to attack any living being, because the present is our judge.
