This would prevent the overpopulation of animals in the streets, giving the possibility of a home to those who have been abandoned and would avoid the trade in living beings, in which they are often kept in appalling conditions.
Animals depend purely and exclusively on us, human animals, to live, therefore we are responsible for their well-being.
