Millions of dogs walk and sleep on the streets in this country, and most people do not do anything for them, sometimes they do not even realize how much animals suffer on the street, because many of them are sick, hurt and go hungry and cold. They need a shelter to take them, veterinary attention, vaccinations, sterilization.
They also need food and a healthy place to live, because we have to take them out of the street, but we can not lock them in cages until they die. Educating the population to adopt stray dogs is another important step to end this scourge.
I ask that the Government do something, and that the citizens of Chile help so that this can be achieved. Together we can get the Government to listen to us!
