Because two thousand donkeys will be slaughtered in October in Bahia. The meat is going to be used for animal feed and the leather exported to China. The two thousand animals will generate about 200 tons of products not intended for human consumption. These animals have historically been exploited and are risk and abuse.
So it is immoral what they are doing to this defenseless animals who helped, and are helping, the poorest community in the Northeast!
